Reply Comments in Section 1201 Rulemaking Proceeding Posted on Copyright Office Website

Reply comments in the triennial rulemaking proceeding on exemptions from the prohibition on circumvention of technological measures that control access to copyrighted works are now available on the Copyright Office website. These comments represent the second round of comments and are from persons who oppose or support any exemptions proposed in the initial comments. The reply comments respond to the proposals made in the initial comments and address whether a proposed exemption should or should not be adopted. Both rounds of comments and additional information on the section 1201 rulemaking proceeding are on our 1201 website page.
