Copyright Office Announces Correction to Notice on Final
Regulation Specifying Notice and Recordkeeping Requirements
on Reporting of Certain Uses of Sound Recordings

On September 30, 2004, the Copyright Office of the Library of
Congress announced a final regulation specifying notice and
recordkeeping requirements governing the reporting of certain
uses of sound recordings that were performed by means of
digital audio transmissions pursuant to statutory license
for the period October 28, 1998, through March 31, 2004
(69 FR 58621). Today the Copyright Office announces two
corrections to the Federal Register announcement of September
30, 2004. Page 58621, third column, and page 58622, first
column, contained the phrase "new types of subscription
services." The corrected text reads "new subscription
services." For further information, click here.
