Copyright Office Announces Royalty Fee Adjustment for Secondary Transmissions by Satellite Carriers
The Copyright Office announces royalty rate adjustments for satellite carriers based upon changes in the Consumer Price Index. This year, the change in the Consumer Price Index for the relevant time period was 0.03 percent, a change so small that the rates remain unaffected for the 2009 licensing period, which is January 1, 2009, through December 31, 2009.
